"Rose your so right - this online shopping world is great" - Agreed SuperMum! I Ikea'd it up on the weekend and my shopping decisions were clouded by chaos of busy isles making my choices hurried and frantic matching the environment around me. At least online I have the time to think.

Oh my, you braved Ikea. The first (and only) time I went to the store in Richmond I was so overwhelmed just LOOKING at the place I fell up the stairs (yes, UP) flat on my face.

Haha - that is so funny! - yes it is overwhelming - it is like a theme park - with location maps everywhere - designed to keep you in!! Must admit it is a TEAM effort when you go - I bought stuff alone and had to find a way to cart my bulky goods to the bottom car park as - I could not leave my goods unattended near the loading bay!!! aaarrgh

Snow - Ikea... You're a brave man. I found it was like a tour of an old house or something like that - you have to follow the arrows on the ground... it's worrying!

Thanks "Hot n Cold" - I found the arrows and maps really useful - as I could let the rug rats run wild while I found me some quality "me" time in the living room section watching a sticker of a tv screen for 30mins.

Haha, now here's a tangent I like. Let's all relate our Ikea experiences....I went there to buy a cupboard and came home with a plastic bin.

I went to to Ikea with the intention of buying a set of shelves, and some drawers. I purchased both, loaded up the car, and drove home. 6 hours and lots of splintered MDF later, I realised that the chest of drawers was beyond repair. I swear the little helper guy on the picture-only instructions was giving me a little smirk.

Has anyone seen the episode of The Chaser's War on Everything when they buy stuff from Ikea, build it up wrongly, and then return it and successfully get a refund! One to YouTube for sure!
